Studio Cava is an Anglo-Italian architecture and interior design studio based in Milan, founded in 2022 by British architect Dominic Cava-Simmons and Italian designer Chiara Greppi. Having worked across London and Milan, we bring together two perspectives: a pragmatic approach shaped by our experience in the UK and a distinctly Milanese sensibility towards space, materials and detail.

Our projects begin with the character of each client and the potential of the space itself. We look closely at light, flow and proportion, creating interiors that are considered and elegant, but above all, made to be lived in.

With experience across award-winning residential and commercial projects in the UK and Italy, we bring an international perspective to our work, from compact city apartments to larger-scale renovations.

Central to our approach is the thoughtful reuse of existing spaces, materials, and objects. Subtle adjustments to layout, colour, or detail allow us to reinterpret these elements, weaving them into new narratives. This approach is both resourceful and respectful, embracing sustainability while maintaining style, functionality, and timeless character.
